As you know, I'm a lash fanatic.
LASHES and Liner? Yeah. Lash fanatic.

So I bought 4 pairs of Dodo Lashes.
I've seen a few people on instagram wearing them and figured I would give them a try because 90% of them are ONLY $5 and they're cruelty free!!! That's insane.

To good to be true, huh? Well it's not! These lashes are actually pretty fantastic in my opinion. In comparison to the Shishi Lashes that I purchased a while back, the band on them is thinner and more comfortable because they're able to flex better.

They also come in a fantastic hard case that I'm probably going to save well after my lashes are done for.

The only complaint that I have is for their website, their pictures of the lashes make it difficult to see what you're getting. In other words, the pictures don't do them justice.

I bought 4 pairs, D105, D115, D119, and from their 3D collection, the D303.
So fast I've only worn the D119 pair. This pair is great for everyday wear. Light, flirty, but not too dramatic.
I'm most excited to wear the D303 3D pair because these are the FLUFFIEST pair of lashes I have ever owned. Very dramatic. Very wispy. Very wow. I'll post pictures later if me wearing each pair, as well as on my instagram.

Little Nyx Haul 👸

This past week I bought three items from NYX, the Invincible Fullest Coverage Foundation in Fair, the Matte Finish Setting Spray, and the High Definition Blush in Hamptons.

Here's what I thought 🙌

Foundation:
I didn't think I'd ever find a product from NYX that I didn't like, but I did. And this is it. It claims to be a "Fullest coverage foundation" and that is a lie. This is honestly just a BB cream. It is very liquid in consistency and has a light coverage.
As a BB cream, I like this product. But as a full coverage foundation, I give it a 1 start.

Setting Spray:
As I've started before, I have really oily skin. So combining this with my matte finishing powder, it keeps my makeup matte and non-oily for up to 10 hours. I do enjoy this product, though it would be nice if it had a light smell🍩

High Definition Blush:
This blush is my favorite so far! It has good color pay off but not so much that you swipe a little on your cheek and you look like Kirby.

Highlight/contour: Maybelline Age Rewind Dark Circle Concealer for my highlight in "fair", Nyx Wonder Stick in "Light/Medium" using the darker color for contour, Nyx Liquid Illuminator in "Sunbeam", and Nyx Pressed Illuminator in "Ritualistic"

Lips: Nyx Lip Primer in Nude, Mac Lip Pencil in "Burgundy", and Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in "Sky Line Pink".

These lashes are great. The lashes themselves are very soft, whispy, and natural. The only complaint that I have is that the band is a little thick, but maybe that's just my bias since I'm used to wearing brands like Ardell and Eylure. Besides that, they're super affordable as far as mink lashes go. Where most mink lashes would be anywhere from $18.00 - $30.00 USD, these lashes (with a coupon code) were $13.00 EACH! I was so excited when I found this brand.

Tarte Clay Paint Eyeliner. Honestly, I can not say enough good things about this stuff. I have had SUCH a hard time finding an eyeliner that doesn't smudge everywhere around the outer edges and into the crease of my eyes because my skin gets so oily. This stuff says 12 hour wear, and it means it. I love that it dries matte, also. That way I won't have shiny eyeliner taking away from my fabulous highlight 💁✨ One bad thing, the brush that comes with it sucks. I guess not if you like nubby wings.

Speaking of, these highlighters are pretty bangin'. I still haven't decided whether I like the liquid or the pressed powder yet but they both are really ✨. ⬇️Picture below for comparison!⬇️

And last but not least, the HD Finishing Powder.

Honestly, what was I even doing with my life before this stuff?

I feel that the baking method works best for me because of my oily skin (again with the oily skin stuff? 😭) but this stuff locks. shit. in. I find that even during an 8 hour shift at work (I'm a cashier at a bulk food store) my makeup doesn't move AND my foundation stays matte and even. Which is crazy. Even in my t-zone.

So all in all, This mini-haul was a HuUGE success. I didn't spend precious money on a product I don't like! And that always makes me happy 😊
