Who Doesn't Love a Good Beauty Haul? πŸ’„ ✨ πŸŽ€

Here's a few products I've bought over the past week πŸ™Œ

Let's talk about 'em! ✒️

πŸ‘€ Lashes are mink lashes in the style "Melody" from Shishi lash, a company based in Canada πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦
You can find these specific lashes here.

πŸ”ͺEyeliner is the famous Tarte Tartiest Clay Paint Liner. Dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested and vegan friendly!
You can find this liner here.

✨Pressed Illuminator in "Ritualistic", Liquid Illuminator in "Sunbeam", and HD Finishing Powder in "Translucent" are from NYX Cosmetics.
You can find them here: Ritualistic, Sunbeam, and Translucent.

These lashes are great. The lashes themselves are very soft, whispy, and natural. The only complaint that I have is that the band is a little thick, but maybe that's just my bias since I'm used to wearing brands like Ardell and Eylure. Besides that, they're super affordable as far as mink lashes go. Where most mink lashes would be anywhere from $18.00 - $30.00 USD, these lashes (with a coupon code) were $13.00 EACH! I was so excited when I found this brand.

Tarte Clay Paint Eyeliner. Honestly, I can not say enough good things about this stuff. I have had SUCH a hard time finding an eyeliner that doesn't smudge everywhere around the outer edges and into the crease of my eyes because my skin gets so oily. This stuff says 12 hour wear, and it means it. I love that it dries matte, also. That way I won't have shiny eyeliner taking away from my fabulous highlight πŸ’✨ One bad thing, the brush that comes with it sucks. I guess not if you like nubby wings.

Speaking of, these highlighters are pretty bangin'. I still haven't decided whether I like the liquid or the pressed powder yet but they both are really ✨. ⬇️Picture below for comparison!⬇️

(Liquid "Sunbeam" on left, Powder "Ritualistic" on right.)

And last but not least, the HD Finishing Powder.

Honestly, what was I even doing with my life before this stuff?
I feel that the baking method works best for me because of my oily skin (again with the oily skin stuff? πŸ˜) but this stuff locks. shit. in. I find that even during an 8 hour shift at work (I'm a cashier at a bulk food store) my makeup doesn't move AND my foundation stays matte and even. Which is crazy. Even in my t-zone.

So all in all, This mini-haul was a HuUGE success. I didn't spend precious money on a product I don't like! And that always makes me happy πŸ˜Š

Welcome!

Hey there! My name is Shelby and Welcome to my blog, Lashes and Liner. Here, I'll be posting beauty tips, reviews, tutorials, and the occasional life lesson😘

A little about me,
I'm 19 and grew up in a very small town in Michigan. I graduated in 2014 and am currently in college, I also have a boyfriend of two years (that's the ginger boy in the picture).
Moving on,
Since I was young I've had a fascination with all things beauty and I've always been the friend that had to look my best before going out. I mean hey, I gotta look good for myself.
Besides beauty, I enjoy kayaking, painting, and longboarding. I HATE snow. With a burning passion. I should probably move out of Michigan. We'll see if that happens😂
Anyways,
I love socializing. If you have questions, comments, or just want to chat, don't be shy! I'm totally here for you, boo! 😘
